Jobs PDF Maker does in one go

Most document requests need more than one step. PDF Maker keeps them on one page, so you choose your files only once.

  • Assignments. Photograph handwritten pages, add the typed cover sheet as a PDF, number everything and stay under the upload limit.
  • Applications. Combine photos of your ID and certificates with a CV already saved as PDF, in the order the form asks for.
  • Claims and records. Put receipt photos and an invoice PDF into one numbered file for an expense or insurance claim.
  • Paperwork from home. Turn signed pages and printed letters into one tidy PDF without a scanner or extra apps.

Tips for a good result

A little order before you press Create PDF saves doing it twice.

  • Add the pages in reading order. You can rearrange later, but adding them in order makes the list easy to check.
  • Choose the size limit last. Set the page numbers and order first; the limit is applied to the finished document.
  • Keep colour where it matters. Use Original colour for ID cards and certificates with seals; Document suits typed and handwritten pages.
  • Fix single PDF pages separately. To remove or turn one page inside a PDF, use Organize PDF first, then add the result here.

How to make a PDF from photos and PDFs

  1. Take photos with your camera, choose photos from your gallery, or add PDF files - in any mix.
  2. Put everything in order with the arrow buttons or by dragging. Rotate or remove any photo or PDF.
  3. Choose the options you need: the look of photos, page numbers, and a file size limit.
  4. Press Create PDF, then download your document.

How your files stay private

Your browser reads the photos and PDFs, builds the document, numbers it and shrinks it, all in memory on your phone or computer. The page is locked so it cannot send data to any other website. When you press Start over or close the tab, everything is cleared.

Limits

  • Up to 20 photos and PDF files per document
  • Photos up to 25 MB each; PDFs up to 50 MB each and 200 MB in total
  • Password-protected or restricted PDFs can't be added
  • Photos aren't cropped or straightened automatically yet

Questions

What does PDF Maker do that the other tools don't?

It does several jobs in one go: photos and PDFs become one document, page numbers run across all of it, and the finished file is brought under the size you choose. With separate tools you would upload the file again for each step.

Can I mix photos and PDF files?

Yes. Add them in any order and arrange them in the list. Each photo becomes one page, and each PDF keeps all of its pages.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to our servers or anyone else's.

Do page numbers count across photos and PDFs?

Yes. Numbers are added after everything is combined, so they run through the whole document in order.

What if the PDF can't reach my size limit?

You get the smallest readable version and a message saying so. Fewer pages or a larger limit usually helps.
