JPG, PNG or WebP. Up to 20 images of 25 MB each.

How to resize an image

  1. Select one or more images, or drop them onto the box.
  2. Choose Width and height (keeps the shape), Exact size (crops from the centre) or Percentage, and enter the size.
  3. Press Resize, then download. Several images come as one ZIP file.

How your files stay private

Your browser redraws each image at the new size, in memory, on your device. The page is locked so it cannot send data to any other website. When you press Start over or close the tab, everything is cleared.

Limits

  • Up to 20 images, 25 MB each
  • New sizes up to 10,000 pixels a side
  • Images keep their format (a browser that can't write WebP saves JPG instead)

Questions

Are my images uploaded?

No. Your browser resizes them on your own device. They are never sent to our servers or anyone else's.

What's the difference between Width and height and Exact size?

Width and height keeps the picture's shape, so one side may come out smaller than you typed. Exact size gives exactly the size you typed by trimming the edges around the centre - nothing is stretched.

The form wants a photo of 600×600 pixels - which do I choose?

Exact size, 600 and 600. The middle of your photo is kept; check the result before you upload it.
