PDF tools

Everything for everyday PDFs - combining, splitting, shrinking and fixing pages - working privately in your browser.

Which PDF tool do I need?

Pick the job you have in front of you; each tool does one thing and does it on your own device.

  • Several files into one: Merge PDF joins them in the order you choose.
  • Only some pages: Split PDF takes out a range or cuts a document into separate files.
  • Pages in the wrong order or sideways: Organize PDF lets you drag, turn and delete pages while you see them; Rotate PDF turns many pages at once.
  • Too big to upload or email: Compress PDF shrinks scans and photo-heavy files, or aims for a size such as 1 MB.
  • Paper to PDF: Scan to PDF uses your phone camera; JPG to PDF turns photos you already have into one document.
  • PDF to pictures: PDF to JPG/PNG saves pages as images for chats, slides and image-only forms.
  • Numbered pages: Add Page Numbers writes 1, 1 / 9 or Page 1 of 9 on every page.

How these PDF tools keep your files private

Most online PDF services upload your document to their servers to work on it. Here, the page loads the tool into your browser and the PDF is read and saved on your phone or computer - it is never sent to us or to anyone else. That matters for the documents people usually need these tools for: contracts, certificates, bank statements and ID scans.

Questions

Are the PDF tools free?

Yes. Every tool is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many times you use it.

How large can my PDFs be?

Up to 50 MB per PDF. Merge PDF takes up to 20 files at once. Very large documents can be slow on older phones.

Do the PDF tools work on a phone?

Yes. They run in any current phone browser - files open from your Files app or gallery, and results save straight back to your phone.

Can I use them on protected PDFs?

PDFs that need a password to open can't be used, and tools that change a PDF also turn down files locked against changes - always with a clear message. Remove the protection in the program that made the file, then try again.
